Prompt: "Your task is to build an app that creates a browser-based game utilizing HTML/CSS/JavaScript."
After considering the work we had already completed, I decided to recreate a game from my childhood, Asteroids.
The project must: Utilize flexbox or grid (or both) · Have at least 20 meaningful git commits · Code must be properly formatted · Be deployed on Surge
Released November 1979
The object of the game is to shoot and destroy the asteroids and saucers, while not colliding with either, or being hit by the saucers' counter-fire.
I planned out the project by mapping necessary pages and figuring out what could be done quickly. I then identified changes that could be made to improve the project and labeled them as enhancements.
To practice forcing myself to keep things simple, I used FigJam to make my wireframes and used the flow diragram and expcted behaviors to map out my most important pages.
